Late summer is a great time to make all your fruit jams and in this class we'll make some sweet and savory ones to last all through the year. Join Chef Joele Pinkerton in this hands-on class as we prepare a variety of jams, learn the proper technique and temperatures to get the correct jam consistency and how to serve these jams in various ways other than just on toast. (Although we'll certainly enjoy some F&B toast!)
We'll make sweet jams for scones and shortbread cookies and savory ones that pair well with a variety of cheeses and homemade crackers for your next cheese board. All jams will be based on farm stand availability and will be in season. Please bring an apron with you to class.
