Introduction to Indian Cooking
|Technique||Begin to prepare your tastebuds as you'll be transported through a variety of spices on an Indian culinary journey with cookbook author and local chef/entrepreneur Monika Arora. You and your friends will be welcomed with masala tea infused with cardamom and cinnamon and will learn the most popular Indian dishes. Since India is made up of many regions we will navigate through a few regions making an North Indian favorite and her families 40 year old recipe of Chicken Tikka Masala, Coconut Shrimp Curry from South India, Chana Masala, Gobi Alu and basmati rice. All entrees are wholesome, healthy, fresh and very yummy!|
|What to expect||This will be a hands on class where you will learn dishes that are rooted in India's age old traditions yet adapted to todays kitchen and lifestyle. You will be leaving our kitchen a resounding pro while filling your culinary minds with Indian wisdom and a deep understanding of our traditional spices and its origin. Please bring an apron with you to class.|
