Looking for that special pie to serve at the holidays? Then join Chef Joan Kirschner for a fun hands-on evening creating the perfect pie to serve for Thanksgiving or Christmas dessert! Pie basics, from start to finish, including crusts, fillings, and toppings, will be taught. Some of the festive pies made may include cranberry crumble pie, apple gouda sage pie, buttermilk pumpkin streusel pie, or minced pear pie. At the end of class, all will taste and enjoy the delicious pies made that night, and leave with the collection of pie recipes. Please bring your favorite apron to class and a container for any leftovers!
