EASTER FAVORITES: HOT CROSS BUNS & MORE
|Technique||Join Chef Joan Kirschner in the Bread Studio for this three-hour hands-on class. You will learn fundamental bread making techniques, such as the making, kneading, shaping, and baking of the dough. You will even be taught another fun skill - how to braid bread!|
|What to expect||At the end of class, you and your fellow students will sit down and enjoy the delicious fresh from the oven holiday breads. Besides the recipes and new bread making knowledge, you will leave with Hot Cross Buns and Italian Easter Bread to enjoy at home. Please bring a container and your favorite apron to class.|
|Class||With the ushering in of spring, it’s time to bake Hot Cross Buns and Italian Easter Bread! Both of these delicious yeasted breads are tender, aromatic, and slightly sweet! They are traditionally made during the spring and are often served at Easter time. They are delicious eaten plain, with fresh fruit, or even toasted with jam.|
Please park in F&B parking lot behind the building (entrance on Action) and walk on the ramp up and around the building to the front door.
