Chicken Soup from Around the Globe, Wednesday, November 20th, 12-2PM
It's the ultimate cold weather comfort food and every culture knows it. In this hands-on class with Chef Sarah Lagrotteria, we'll celebrate chicken stock and the ways it's used around the globe to create comforting soups that evoke warm memories and combat cold weather, colds, and the gamut of emotional woes. Recipes may include a class chicken matzoh ball soup with schmaltz, a herbaceous and fresh Vietnamese chicken pho, lemony Greek Avogolemono, and a spicy and warm Chinese ginger chicken congee.
P.S. all recipes can be made the week after with leftover turkey...we won't tell.
