Breads of the Middle East
|Technique||In this hands-on class, Chef Joan Kirschner will teach you how to make both yeasted and non-yeasted flatbreads, such as Nan-e-Barbari, Lavash, or Pita. Along with the breads, a variety of accompaniments, such as roasted feta with fresh herbs and honey, and hummus will be made.|
|What to expect||At the end of class, you will gather with fellow students and enjoy the delicious fruits of your labor! You will take home the recipes and breads made in class. Please bring a container along with your favorite apron to class.|
|Class||Breaking bread between family and friends is at the core of many countries, including the Middle East. From pita to lavash, every event begins and ends with bread. Join us for an evening of exploring the delicious breads and flavors of this area of the world.|
Please park in F&B parking lot behind the building (entrance on acton). Use the ramp to walk up and around the building to enter via the front door.
