Our first January Subscription Bread is an Everything Sourdough, the crust loaded with sesame, poppy, flax and fennel seeds. Our baker informed us it's his favorite bread for avocado toast. From those of us in the bakery today, here are our favorite variations on avocado toast. 1.The Purist— Our baker slices this bread and browns it on both sides in olive oil in a cast-iron pan, tops it with ripe, sliced avocado, a dash of cayenne, salt and pepper. 2.
