Our first January Subscription Bread is an Everything Sourdough, the crust loaded with sesame, poppy, flax and fennel seeds. Our baker informed us it's his favorite bread for avocado toast.  From those of us in the bakery today, here are our favorite variations on avocado toast. 1.The Purist— Our baker slices this bread and browns it on both sides in olive oil in a cast-iron pan, tops it with ripe, sliced avocado, a dash of cayenne, salt and pepper. 2. How to Make the Most of Your Sourdough Bread

You're holding a fresh loaf of our artisanal sourdough bread— how do you make the most of it? Here are our favorite tips: 1. For the first few days, use in fresh preparations like sandwiches, sliced with butter, or to accompany a meal. 2. If serving the loaf whole, we recommend you warm it to revive that just-baked crust and and full flavor. Place it in a pre-heated 350°F oven until hot to the touch, about 12-15 minutes. 3.
