Taking a pause
Due to Covid-19
Friends alerted us that there is a reddit post claiming that Flowers & Bread is closing for good. This is not accurate. We’re not going anywhere!
We wanted to address this quickly and make sure you all have factual information.
Due to the constraints of social distancing measures and the space limitations of our cafe, we’ve made the decision not to re-open the cafe portion of f&b.
Though small, our cafe has meant an enormous amount to us and we are so, so thankful to the many of you who supported us and shared that dream with us.
But difficult times call for innovation and we’ve spent the lockdown making plans and dreaming up the next phase of Flowers & Bread.
To our cafe customers, we’re thinking of you. Our breads, pastries, and coffee won’t be lost—we’re working on a creative way to continue sharing those goodies with you as well as celebrate new offerings. We’re excited about what’s to come and look forward to announcing it here soon.
Once it feels safe to do so, we’ll welcome you back with an expanded roster of socially distanced classes and events, as well as re-open our full-service floral studio. As our customers know, all previously purchased classes and scheduled events will be honored then.
We repeat...we’re not going anywhere. Flowers & Bread will be different, but we look forward to serving this incredible community for many years to come. We thank you so much for your ongoing support and can’t wait to see you all when things feels safer.
In the meanwhile, stay well and safe.

Flowers & Bread is an absolute gem in Clintonville.
Columbus! Really? You'd think you were in France or England. After you climb the steps of this eye catching white house and enter the front door, you will immediately feel transported.
Why haven't you been here! Say that to yourself really loud over and over! Food is delightful. Clean! The staff is very kind and helpful. Event space is gorgeous. Coffee is outstanding.
Go here as soon as you can! Clintonville gem. The interior is absolutely gorgeous. The food is delectable. I need to control myself from going here every weekend.
Absolutely the most charming place. Feels like you're in Europe. Came for the flowers but stayed for the amazing baked goods. Tried 4 varieties and each was AMAZING!
I've only had pastries and coffee, but both are to die for. I could eat so many of their Orange Chocolate Chip scones. And the place is so quaint and makes one feel a little bit transported to somewhere in Europe. I'm interested now in perhaps taking a baking class. They offer floral related classes too and, wow, there's just so much to love in one adorable place!
The bakery restaurant is amazing with a wide variety of food. The coffee is excellent. The staff is knowledgeable. The service is first rate. They have a beautiful patio area for the warmer months. I go to cooking classes there and it is fun to cook in a genuine restaurant kitchen. I highly recommend it for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. And of course to learn how to be a better cook.
